Tavernites and World of Warcraft!
HAY GUYS!

How many of the ye olde Sword and Serpent Crew play WoW?

Chai rolled up an alt on my server and we've been reminiscing about the old days in a way that is quite spiff! We've been wondering if:

1) There are any Tavnery folks who are interested in playing WoW but haven't picked it up yet.

If so, GO GET THE GAME and roll on the Cenarion Circle Roleplaying server. :D

2) There are any Tavnery folks who are currently playing WoW and can access the American Servers.

If so, roll up an alt on Cenarion Circle! Even if it's just to visit! ;_;

I has a guild there and there is this one particular empty tavern that just sits there with no NPCs in it. We could totally hijack it into a Sword and Serpent Shindig spot.

I wanted to reply to this post to show that I still pay attention to Tavern related things but unfortunately I have no motivation to play World of Warcraft whatsoever. I did a trial in December 2007 and I don't really think the gameplay is for me. I found it a little difficult to be immersed in these massive open spaces and quests. Sorry guys =\

Sort of seconding lucentai here. Kind of to the letter. =D In that I did a trial, though I'm not sure if it was then-- it could have been about the timeframe, oddly enough-- and it really wasn't for me.

I'm kind of touched, though, that after all this time people still care so much about that darn Tavern. They loved it. It meant something to people at a critical time of their lives. I'm really... quite moved.

there is a lot to remember. I definitely still do feel a belonging to the place, after so many years.

Same here, Avi, same here.

Finding the Tavern and meeting a lot of the Taverners were one of the most awesome things to happen in my life.

sorry :/ time/funds/little mac harddrive... also a 10 minute video game attention span in general. I may hijack my brothers' account to make an alt and see if you guys are around next time I have the chance, though.

I've done a trial version (wasn't that one 10 days or something?), and...I dunno. It would be a massive money/time sink for me, and I just can't afford it. If it were free (like Guild Wars), I'd have played it, but right now I can't, unfortunately.
