Mister ROGERS?!
So apparently Fox News Network attempted to make a smear campaign in 2007.

...OF MISTER ROGERS.

WTF?

Of all the people they could possibly attempt to drag through the mud... MISTER ROGERS?!  He filled my childhood with happy warm fun times of happiness while educating me about all sorts of things! This calls for frickin' war man.

Also CNN is far better then Fox: http://www.cnn.com/2008/LIVING/wayoflife/07/28/mf.mrrogers.neighbor/index.html

*looks up the deal* I don't think highly of people who don't believe that other human beings have inherent worth.
Here's a link to a video of the actual story. Look, shitty reporting in action. Look, poor sample size AND cause-effect fallacies, all reported by a bona fide asshole. You'll actually feel your blood pressure rising.
(BTW, sorry for the number of deletes/reposts. Having trouble with typos that change the meaning of what I'm saying.

I just had a realization. Fox has now explicitly aligned themselves with Fred Phelps, who picketed Mr. Rogers' funeral and declared that he had gone to hell for telling everyone that God loved them. (Maybe it makes sense if you're mentally ill.)

Mr. Rogers was the greatest gift to the 20th Century for kids growing up. Watching the story made me literally see red. I still can't believe Fox news had the gall to even THINK of reporting something like this. Fair and Balanced my foot!

Faux news was never good. It's always been full of slander and biased opinions, very rarely is it ever anything close to 'news'.

This is more hilarious than the SEXbox story they did in April! The Onion has competition in the satirical-comedy news venue now. Oh wait... is that supposed to be real?
